Origin: Southern Mexico, Tropical South America Specific Gravity: 0.87-0.97 g/cm3 Characteristics: The heartwood exhibits irregular dark brown and black streaks, while the sapwood is creamy and light golden-brown in color. It is challenging to process, but after surface treatment, it becomes exceptionally beautiful with a glossy appearance. It is used for wooden furniture, altars, boat veneers, and fine woodworking products.
